Derby Girl of the Month: Ribcage Rosie

Each month, The South Country Derby Girls share their "derby girl of the month" with Patch.

    Well, better late than never!

The South County Derby Girls would like to give a big shout out to Ribcage Rosie, our derby girl for the month of January.

Rosie has been with the team for a little over a year, and has continued to support the team even when she was unable to compete. She had a tailbone injury that prevented her from skating until it healed, but she's now back on the track.

When you ask anyone to describe Rosie, they all compliment her on her kindness and selflessness. She is known as "the sweetest skater on the team."

Rosie goes to school full time, and still manages to do whatever she can to attend practices, events and bouts. Her hard work and determination has truly influenced every girl on this team to do their best. Congrats Rosie, we all love you!
