Pet of the Week: Oreo

Meet Oreo! Oreo is about 5 years old. She's very loving and would make a great dog for a retired couple or single person.

Oreo's very friendly and is the perfect indoor dog. She is crate trained, potty trained and weighs about 14 pounds. She gets along well with the other dogs, but if it were her choice, she’d prefer a laid back dog to spend her time with rather than a high-energy playmate. 

This girl is a cuddler and seeks out attention at times, but can also be independent. She is currently living with the owner and operator of the rescue center, who says she’s a perfect dog! And this woman sees a lot of dogs, so this is a tremendous compliment.

Oreo's adoption fee is $250, but those aged 60 and above qualify for a $50 discount. 

Oreo's profile on Petfinder lists her in Monterey, but she'll be at the adoption event in Gilroy tomorrow. Check out photos of Oreo to the right. The one of her lying on the rug is her most recent look, as she just got a haircut about three weeks ago.
