Thursday Night Morgan Hill Certified Farmers' Market Set to Open for the 2014 Season
MORGAN HILL-- West Coast Farmers Market Association in cooperation with the Morgan Hill Downtown Association are excited to announce the reopening of the Thursday Night Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market on April 17. The Thursday Night market will be operating every Thursday year round from 3 pm to 8 pm for its summer hours. The market will then switch its hours from 3 pm to 7 pm for the winter months, starting on November 6. The market takes place in downtown Morgan Hill at 3rd Street and Monterey Road and will also be in the adjacent parking lots.
This will be the first time in its existence that the Thursday night Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market will see a full season, as the market had an experimental opening for November 2012, before closing for the winter months. “It’s been a long winter, and we are excited to start the market back up,” explains executive director, Jerry Lami. “We have added new vendors this year to increase variety and selection in the market, so there will be more to see when you come by the market,” states Director of Market Operations, Jan Taylor.
