Cabrillo Student is a Man of Few Words With a 'Quick and Dirty' Style

Joseph Joshua Angelo Alexi Faraday is a 19-year-old musician with few words but plenty of fashion to spare.

Nineteen-year-old Joseph Joshua Angelo Alexi Faraday has a name longer than most statements he makes, but his fashion statement needs no explanation.

Gilroy Patch caught up with him and asked a few fashion questions.

Gilroy Patch: How would you describe your style?

Faraday: I don’t know exactly;, let me think about that ... quick and dirty. I would say quick and dirty.

Patch: Can you describe what you are wearing today?

Faraday: Vans sneakers that my brother gave me, this shirt I got from a camp I went to over the summer, and my jeans are Levi's from the Outlet stores.

Patch: Is your instrument part of your fashion statement?

Faraday: I just bought this accordion at a thrift store a few stores away from here. I was torn between this and a banjo. I guess I made the right decision.

Patch: How do you dress, typically?

Faraday: This is how I usually dress, really laid back. I’m always riding the bus, and I go to school at Cabrillo.

Patch: Do you have a favorite fashion accessory?

Faraday: I really like this sweater. I got it at a thrift store in Aptos.

Patch: Where do you like to shop?

Faraday: I go to Goodwill, Salvation Army. And I like shopping in places that aren't where I live. I like shopping in random thrift stores.

Patch: Do you friends dress similarly to you?

Faraday: Yeah, my friends and I are in a band together. We spend a lot of time together, and I guess you end up dressing the same when that happens.

Patch: Do you see a difference between Gilroy and Aptos?

Faraday: The difference between Aptos and most of Gilroy is totally different. Way off the charts. But the difference between Aptos style and my style is nothing. We are both laid back.
