Earthquake Recap: Two Tiny Shakes Near Gilroy

There were two small earthquake in the county this week.

Just a pair of tiny earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale just outside of Santa Clara County this week, with the largest measured at just 1.9, between Watsonville and Gilroy.

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either of the earthquakes on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
