Gilroy Garlic Pyro Chefs Cooking Behind AT&T Park Today

Individuals can enjoy garlicky cuisine and entertainment from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

 

Pyro chefs from the Gilroy Garlic Festival will be preparing Gourmet Alley cuisine on the shore of San Francisco's McCovey Cove on Friday June 29.

The chefs will be preparing the food at Seals Plaza on the north shore of the cove behind AT&T Park, located at 24 Willie Mays Plaza, prior to the Giants game with the Cincinnati Reds.

Chefs will serve their internationally-renowned cuisine to special event ticket holders, who will also receive a special edition Herbie bobble-head doll dressed in a Giants uniform.

The 34th annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, also known as the "ultimate Summer Food Fair," takes place July 27 through 28. More than 100,000 people visit the fair each year.

The festival has 50 live concerts, children's activities, arts and crafts, an international cooking competition and extraordinary cuisine enhanced with over three tons of fresh garlic, according to the Garlic Festival Website.
