Gilroy Library Focuses on Food Through Bilingual Programming

Throughout February and March, the library will host a series of food-themed talks and workshops in English and Spanish.

Calling all foodies: the Santa Clara County Library District is launching a “Focus on Food” program.

Held throughout February and March at the Gilroy Library and other Santa Clara County Libraries, it will feature food demonstrations, author discussions, hands-on food preparation, health and wellness talks. There will also be a slew of programs concerning the various aspects of growing food.

To complement these activities, the library will also offer cookbooks, food magazines for checkout, and DVDs.
