Gilroy Unemployment Rates: From a Low of 4.5% to a High of 17.5%

The Garlic City's unemployment rates for the last 10 years have fluctuated by 13%.

The Garlic City, like the rest of the country, is feeling the pinch of unemployment but the overall rate is higher than the countywide average.

As of July, the unemployment rate in Santa Clara County was 10.3 percent.

In Gilroy, the July unemployment rate was 15.3 percent.
