The local discount grocer is partnering with St. Joseph's family center.

Gilroy’s Grocery Outlet is partnering with to make it easy for shoppers to donate essential food items to those in need as part of its “Independence from Hunger” Campaign.

Through the month of July, shoppers at the discount grocery store at 333 E Tenth St. will encounter specially marked food items that are of high-priority to the daily food assistance pantry and other programs through St. Joseph's. Those items can be easily bought and donated at the store.

“We are proud to partner with St. Joseph’s Family Center to help people who don't always know where they will find their next meal,” said Gilbert and Janice Angkiangco, owners of the Gilroy Grocery Outlet.
