U2 Can Sing: If you have a natural inclination to follow up a pint of Guinness with a rendition of your favorite ‘80s pop song, look no further than karaoke night at the Station 55 Bar and Grill (55 Fifth Street, 408-840-2444) or the the Gilroy Bowl (7554 Monterey St., 408-842-5100).

Country Time at Longhouse Restaurant: In addition to serving its signature steak, this Gilroy staple is offering a delectable country music experience at 9:30 p.m. The California Cowboys, whose guitarist Gary Potterton is best known for producing “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer,” will be adding to Thursday’s fun with their lively, upbeat tunes.

Celebrate with the Family at Mama Mia’s:  The Italian restaurant offers a convenient, and frugal, way to celebrate any holiday with the family. For 30 bucks from 4 p.m. on, Mama Mia’s provides a heaping serving for four of Chicken Parmesan, a salad, pasta, and vegetables, topped off with a non-alcoholic beverage.
