Small Earthquake Rumbles Near Morgan Hill
Magnitude-2.2 temblor occurred eight miles outside of the city.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a small earthquake struck at 10:40 a.m. Sunday in Santa Clara County.
The tremor had a preliminary magnitude of 2.2 and a depth of 6.9 miles, according to the USGS.
The epicenter was eight miles west of Morgan Hill and 17 miles southeast of San Jose City Hall.
