Supervisor Wasserman Gives Shout-Out to Guerrero
The commendation followed the official recognition of the county board of supervisors May 24.
In his most recent newsletter, Supervisor Mike Wasserman gave a shout out to local boxing superstar Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero:
This month is dedicated to Gilroy's hometown hero, professional boxer Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero. Robert has been an excellent role model for youth, steering them away from gangs and drugs. He has also raised money for cancer research after his wife Casey was diagnosed with leukemia. On May 24th, Robert was officially recognized and commended by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for his service to our community. Great work Robert!
