National Day of Service & Remembrance

September 11, 2011, The first officially designated National Day of Service and Remembrance will be marked by volunteer service projects in all 50 States!

Those interested in serving can find volunteer opportunities at the Gilroy Demonstration Garden and the Gilroy Farmers Market. We will be honored by an opening ceremony from our local Vets around 10:30. We will also be visited by our local fire fighters between 11am and 1pm. The garden is also hosting a BBQ for all volunteers.
