Get Out: Coffee with the Mayor, Punk Rock and a Visit to the New Market

Saturday morning coffee with the mayor, a class in genealogy, a visit to the new farmers market and perhaps head out to Watsonville for the farewell performance of Los Dryheavers or to San Jose for a roller derby benefit game.

Why Go:  This is your chance to chat with the mayor in an informal setting and share your concerns about city issues and hear the mayor's perspective as well. And you get a free cup of coffee, too!

Why Go: Los Dryheavers are a local Watsonville legend and this is their farewell concert. So come and say goodby and watch their last show. Los Dryheavers is a popular local punk band that has been playing over 12 years. Also playing are Pop Bottle Bombers, P+, Los Fracasos (also their last show) from Watsonville, and Sea Wolves from Salinas. Taqueria La Fuente will be there selling tacos and other snacks.

Why Go:  Be a Dear and Donate a Brassiere and the Silicon Valley Roller Girls are teaming up for a roller derby bout to support women in transition by providing necessary undergarments.  Sometimes we forget the importance of what is underneath. So attend a double-header roller derby featuring the KillaBytes and the Dot.Kamikazes.
