Singer/Songwriter To Perform Sierra LaMar-Inspired Song
Shane Dwight will sing at a fundraiser for Klaas Kids.
The next fundraiser for Klaas Kids will be singer/songwriter Shane Dwight performing a song he wrote for Sierra LaMar.
Called "Sing for Me in Search for Sierra," the song is on his new album This House. Dwight will sing the tune 1 p.m. Saturday at Hot Cars and Guitars in Hollister.
Sierra was 15 when she vanished near her Morgan Hill home while on her way to school on March 16, 2012. Antolin Garcia Torres was arrested two and a half months later, and charged with kidnapping and murdering the teenager. Her body has never been found.
USA Today said Dwight was one of the 10 most intriguing track artists and he has received critical acclaim as an "Ace Songwriter".
