It was only a few months ago that the vineyards in Gilroy had plush, radiant grape leaves and vines.

These pictures were taken in the fall, when brilliant shades of greens, reds and golds consumed the vineyards.

Sarah's Vineyard, nestled off Hecker Pass Highway, has a huge estate that produces award-winning wines. The vineyard recently took home 10 medals from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition in 2012, and took home four medals the year before.
