It is true about the traveling artist who did many murals and decorations on downtown Gilroy buildings. His name was Stephan. But THIS one, with the locomotive, on the side of the coffee shop, I believe was done by the Gilroy High students under their teacher, Carol Peters. The murals are a good feature. Also we have gotten 4 decorated electrical control boxes and will be getting more this spring. They could be featured individually, like the murals.

That's a great idea, Connie. When were the electrical boxes decorated? It was recently, right? And do you know which streets they're on?

Thank you Lisa and Peter for sharing your photos of the Giroy Downtown Business Association's ribbon cutting. And thanks Kathy, for uploading pics from last week's grand opening of the new CMAP office in downtown. They both look like wonderful events!
