In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month J.C. Penney hair salons nationwide are offering a free haircut and style to breast cancer survivors during October.
J.C. Penney salons near Gilroy are at:

- East Ridge Mall, 2230 Eastridge Loop, San Jose, (408) 238-0318.
- 951 W. Pacheco Blvd., Los Banos, (209) 826-5150.
Survivors can visit their local jcp salon during operating hours for a complimentary cut, styling tips and a Sephora gift card good for a free mini lipstick and express service to complete the look.
Additionally, jcp will donate $1 for every free haircut it gives, up to $50,000, to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
