SNAPSHOTS: National Food Day at Farmer's Market
Sunday's farmer's market was the last of the season and here is a glimpse of the closing day.
The closing day of the Gilroy Farmer's Market season was filled with fresh produce and crafts, as well as tips for healthy eating in honor of National Food Day.
There was a table displaying goat-milk soap and lotion, one with unique sculptures of beeswax and juicy produce available from nearby farms.
The public health department and South County Collaborative worked together to promote National Food Day at the market with games for children and information for adults.
