Art & Wine Stroll This Saturday

Numerous businesses, artists and 15 Santa Clara wineries will be participating in this year's wine stroll.

The is back this Saturday, with 15 wineries, multiple businesses and artists participating for your sipping and shopping pleasure.

Attendees can enjoy the work of local and visiting artists—ranging from jewelry, paintings, cards, and works of clay, steel and wood—while enjoying music. A full list of participating artists and musical entertainment is available on the second page of the attached wine stroll event guide.

Gilroy’s 9 Lives, Amoretto Boutique, Dragonfly on Fifth Coffee Roasting Company and Gilroy Antiques will be among the participating businesses, along with local wineries like Fortino, Guglielmo, Hecker Pass, and Kirigin Cellars. 

A ticket to Gilroy’s 2012 wine stroll buys you a wine glass, access to 15 pourings from Santa Clara County wineries and 10 raffle tickets.

Here are just a few of the items that will be raffled off:

  • Nimble Thimble: A handmade quilt valued at over $350.
  • Mango Street Kids: A "Mommy and Me" basket filled with locally made jewelry, headbands and other accessories valued at over $100.
  • Station 55: A $50 gift card.
  • Invoke Yoga and Pilates: A private yoga classes, group yoga and pilates classes.
  • Predator's Archery: A complete archery set and five lessons valued at over $280.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the door and can be purchased at the Gilroy Downtown Business Association office, located at 7780 Monterey St., at the Chamber of Commerce, the Gilroy Visitor’s Bureau or any of the participating wine stroll businesses.
