Gilroy Temperature Approaching Record High for Oct. 2

The highest temperature ever recorded in Gilroy on Oct. 2 is 107º.

Although we're almost two weeks into fall, the summer weather is just not letting up. 

According to WeatherBug, it is 106º in Gilroy as of 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2. The all-time high for this date in Gilroy was set in 1980, when temperatures hit 107º, Intellicast records show.

Historically, the average high temperature for Oct. 2 in Gilroy has been 82º with a low of 52º. Last year on Oct. 2, the high was just 71º with a low of 57º.
