Three small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale near Gilroy over the last week, with the largest measured at 2.5 just three miles southwest of town.
Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Monday afternoon, 45 people reported feeling the 2.5, 41 of which were in Gilroy on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
