Wednesday, Sept. 21

1:55 p.m. Wednesday The west-bound lane of Highway 156 is partly blocked, after a big rig truck traveling west near Lucy Brown Lane lost around half of a load of peaches it was transporting, according to officials from the Hollister-Gilroy area of the California Highway Patrol.

The vehicle should be moved off the roadway soon, and the peaches are being removed from the roadway now, so commuters should expect a slight delay, but nothing too serious.

Information regarding current traffic incidents and road conditions can be found on the California Department of Transportion website.
