Parkinson's Fundraiser "A Tuna Christmas" at Limelight Actors Theater

Limelight Actors Theater, Gilroy's Downtown “Bring Your Own” Dinner Theater presents “A Tuna Christmas”, with 11 fundraising performances for Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research.

Visiting eccentric old friends and relations is part of the bustle of the holidays. And that's what a trip to the little town of Tuna, Texas, feels like. Two busy actors (Kevin Heath and Bill Tindall) play an entire community of 22 small-town folk — male and female, young and old — in the holiday comedy "A Tuna Christmas,"

This show is the hilarious sequel to the classic "Greater Tuna”, presented at Limelight last year. The outrageously funny and much loved characters of Tuna, Texas are back for Christmas.

Presented by Directors Steve Spencer and Kae Jenny-Spencer, each performance will be a fundraiser for Parkinson’s research. "A Tuna Christmas" opens Nov 16th and runs through Dec 8th, with matinees Nov 25th and Dec 2nd, and a special Thursday night show on Dec 6th.

Tickets are $25, instead of the regular $18, and the additional $7 of every ticket is a tax-deductible donation to Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research. Performances are at the Gilroy Center for the Arts, 7341 Monterey St., Gilroy (on the corner of 7th and Monterey). Friday and Saturday performances are "Bring Your Own Dinner" theater. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages are for sale at concessions, and you can bring your own bottle of wine for a nominal corkage fee. All proceeds from concessions and corkage are donated back to the Center for the Arts.
