'The Cemetery Club' on stage at Limelight Actors Theater

This dramatic comedy starts off the 2013 season at Gilroy's only downtown theater, offering "Bring Your Own Dinner Theater".
A dynamic cast of well known actors in the
Bay Area star in this production. Three Jewish widows meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husband's graves.
Ida (Ruth E. Stein) is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life, Lucille (Rosalind Farotte) is a feisty
embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun, and Doris (Betsy Andrade) is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam the butcher (Tom Hepner) enters the scene. He meets the widows while visiting his wife's grave. Doris and Lucille squash the budding romance between Sam and Ida.
They are guilt stricken when this nearly breaks Ida's heart, especially when Sam shows up with
Mildred (Christine McElroy) on his arm. A story of friendship, love, loss and never being too old to try again.
Friday and Saturday nights. Matinees on Sun Feb 10 and 17 at 2:00pm.
