And the Winner Is . . .

After three months of great performances and 24 bands taking the stage it all comes down to this Saturday night at 9Lives as the Battle of the Bands comes to its climax. 

The three finalist bands are ILLFUSIoN, hailing from Salinas, the Campbell/San Jose based POUNDERS and Deathmaster, hailing from "the depths of hell."

This has been a great second go-round for our Battle of the Bands and Saturday night is going to be HUGE. 

These three bands have brought it every time they have taken our stage and each has come up with new material, tricks and  show elements to help push them over the top. 

With a $500 cash prize, recording time with sponsors from Tool Shed Studio and other prizes on the line, the time has certainly come for each band to pull out all the stops.

Doors for the show will open at 8 p.m. with the first band, ILLFUSIoN, taking the stage at 8:30. POUNDERS will perform second with Deathmaster closing out the competition. 

Then, the wait begins as our judges meet to discuss and debate which band will take the prize. The winners will be announced after the last band performs with prizes awarded at the end of the night. 

We will also announce the dates for the Summer Battle of the Bands during the night.

Tickets for the show are $10 at the door and you must be 21 or older with a valid I.D. to be admitted. Tickets are also available through each band or through our website at www.ninelivesclub.com.
