CMAP TV to Cover Garlic Festival

Don't miss CMAP's Garlic Festival video coverage on Gilroy Patch from Friday through Sunday, starting at 5 p.m., streaming online at www.cmap.tv and on cable channel 20.

CMAP TV will be airing freshly-captured content from the Gilroy Garlic Festival beginning on Friday evening at 5 p.m. All of CMAP's up-to-date Festival coverage can be viewed thourgh its streaming channel at www.cmap.tv, and will be cablecast simultaneously on local Channel 20. 

CMAP's volunteer crews will cover all three days of the festival, live from the Garlic Cook-Off Stage. Field crews will shoot, edit and upload special news segments from the Festival and will be posted periodically on Gilroy Patch.

This year's coverage begins with Friday's So, You Think You Can Cook With Garlic contest, followed by a session in the kitchen with local chef Jonathan Toste and the Master Chef Challenge.

Saturday's coverage will include the Great Garlic Cook-Off  Contest, highlighting the famous garlic recipe contest and a discussion with celebrity judges and chefs who include the entertaining Luca Rutigliano – Executive Chef of CordeValle Resort, private chef Jay Minzer of New York and former San Francisco 49er Eric Wright.

On Sunday, CMAP's coverage includes the Garlic Showdown on the Cook-Off Stage, and the knowledgable team of local celebrity chefs, The SakaBozzo Show, with Gene Sakahara and Sam Bozzo.
