CMAP's Summer Camp Programs Start June 26
Summer digital media camps for youth in Gilroy and Hollister through CMAP will be available at our downtown Gilroy and Hollister locations.
Community Media Access Partnership (CMAP) will be offering summer digital media camps for youth in Gilroy and Hollister this summer.

'Be the Media' Digital Bootcamp for Girls - Gilroy
When: June 26-29, 2012

About: Do you like to act, direct or operate a video camera? CMAP is offering a week-long, all-girls camp for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 years old to learn about all aspects of media production, including video production, editing, storytelling and interviewing techniques. The participants will complete a short video, as well as view Miss Representation, and learn about women in the media and meet local women leaders. The class is facilitated by Executive Director Kathy Bisbee and Operations Manager Joanna Cyprys.
Price: $135 (limited scholarships available)

Summer Digital Media Camp - Hollister
When: July 9th-13th, 2012 (1-4pm)
About: Interested in learning how to make your own YouTube or music video? This summer, the YMCA of San Benito and CMAP are teaming up to offer a week-long camp in video production, editing and new media skills. The participants will learn scriptwriting, storytelling, video production, editing and will complete a short video. Contact the YMCA to register.

About: Interested in learning how to make your own YouTube or music video? Sign up for this week-long camp in video production, editing and new media skills. The participants will learn scriptwriting, storytelling, video production, claymation and editing and will complete a short video.
