Shelley Blundo Loza: Resident of Gilroy. Her parents and children also live in town. Died after a short illness on Aug. 23. She was 57.

Anthony Burzota: Services held in Gilroy. He was an employee of Santa Clara County. He is survived by his wife and four children. Passed away Aug. 22. He was 55.

Nancy Dew: Moved to Gilroy in 2006. She was a hairstylist for 45 years. Passed away Aug. 20. she was 68.

Alfred Phillip Diaz: Born and raised in Gilroy. He had eight children, served in the Air Force and had a catering business. Passed away Aug. 21. He was 75. 

Mary Anne Giacalone: Resident of Gilroy. Recently worked as yard duty at St. Mary's School and worked in real estate for 15 years. She is survived by her husband of 49 years and her four children. Passed away Aug. 23. She was 71.

Atsuko Ikeda Obata: Gilroy resident. Spent years in an Arizona Japanese Relocation camp during WWII. She was a talented seamstress and took ballroom dancing class. Passed way Aug. 21. She was 90. 

Juanita Wallace: A party in her memory was held in Gilroy. Passed away Aug. 19. She was 85.
