Flora Vica Alosi: Resident of Morgan Hill. She was known as the "Godmother of Morgan Hill" and lived in the same home for 45 years. Passed away Aug. 27. She was 84.

Shelley Blundo Loza: Native of Gilroy. She passed away after a short illenss on Aug. 23. She was 57.

Lori S. Kleames: Her husband lives in Gilroy. She studied microbiology at Cal Poly. Passed away Aug. 27. She was 52.

Thi Quang Morrison: Lived in Gilroy from age 8 to 18. He was born in Vietna and wanted to work in solar energy. Passed away Aug. 30. He was 38. 

Joe L. Peterson: His children live in Gilroy. He served in the Korean War. Passed away Aug. 25 in Texas. He was 82.

Ben Taniguchi: Gilroy resident. He was a sales executive and graduate of UCLA. Passed way Aug. 28. He was 81. 

Gloria Urquidez Salinas: Resident of Gilroy. She fought Leukemia for two years. Passed away Sept. 1. She was 82.
