A 78-year-old pedestrian who was killed when she was hit by a car in Morgan Hill on Friday has been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as Patricia Kambur.
Morgan Hill police responded to a report of an accident at 6:30 p.m. Friday on Monterey Road just south of John Wilson Way, police said.
A vehicle driven by a 65-year-old Morgan Hill woman had hit Kambur, police said.
Kambur, a Morgan Hill resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have no evidence that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and the collision remains under investigation, police said.
