Family Offers $10,000 Reward for Info Leading Police to Sierra LaMar

The LaMar family is offering a $10,000 reward to the first person who relays information that will lead police to missing Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar.

The LaMar family is offering a $10,000 reward to the first person who relays information that will lead police to missing Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar, the family announced Saturday.

The reward money apparently came from donors and community members, according to the Find Sierra LaMar Facebook page.

The LaMar family created the to help with search and rescue costs, and had raised $3,680 by March 28. As of Saturday, almost $8,000 has been raised. Donations can be made directly to the fund online, or at any Chase bank.

Sierra LaMar, 15, has been missing for over 20 days. Continual searches have been organized by both the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office and KlaasKids, a nonprofit that aids searches for missing people.

KlaasKids has organized another search that's taking place today in Morgan Hill, and has another search planned for April 11.

Info on the April 11th search is below. Let me know if you have any additional questions. There's also a contact number in this article: http://patch.com/A-sm2S KlaasKids, the nonprofit dedicated to helping families of missing people, will be conducting a search Saturday, April 7, and Wednesday, April 11. Individuals who would like to participate in one of the searches can join KlassKids and others in the cafeteria at Burnett Elementary School in Morgan Hill between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on those days.
