Two groups of people got in a fight in Morgan Hill and police are looking for information.

Written by Bay City News:

Morgan Hill police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspects involved in a brawl at a bowling alley that seriously injured one man last Sunday morning.

A man suffered puncture wounds to his neck following a fight that occurred at the Morgan Hill Bowl, located at 650 Tennant Station Way, at about 12:30 a.m., police said.

According to Morgan Hill police Detective Jason Broyer, officers were called to the scene to break up a fight between two groups of people, but when they arrived, the groups had left.

Around the same time, emergency dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call regarding an injured Hispanic male in a car bleeding from the neck and head, Broyer said.

Police officers found the 24-year-old victim from Watsonville sitting in a car with two friends in the 18000 block of Peet Avenue. The man was suffering from a puncture wound and was taken to an area trauma center for treatment.

Witness accounts of the incident indicate there were two groups of people fighting inside the bowling alley. The fight ended near the east doors of the bowling alley, witnesses told police.

The possible suspects fled the scene in a black truck and a red sedan, according to Broyer.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Detective Jason Broyer at (408) 779-2101 or contact the anonymous tip line at (408) 947-STOP.
