Four-Year-Old Among Trauma Victims in 101 Accident

Northbound 101 was shut down for 40 minutes to allow for the landing of an air ambulance.

The vehicle, a 1995 Ford Explorer, veered off the roadway and “collided into a fence, then rolled onto its roof in a ditch just east of US-101” at approximately 11:20 a.m., said the CHP.

Authorities blocked northbound traffic just south of Tennant Avenue for 40 minutes to allow an air ambulance to land, they said.
