Gilroy Homicide Suspect Arrested at Mexican Border
Fernando Minero was taken into custody by Homeland Security in San Diego County on Monday.

Minero was arrested Monday by the Department of Homeland Security in San Ysidro at the United States/Mexico Border, Gilroy Sgt. Chad Gallacinao said Tuesday.
According to the Gilroy Dispatch, he was attempting to return to California from Tijuana.

Police issued a manslaughter warrant for Minero's arrest in August and .
He will be arraigned in Santa Clara County Superior Court in the coming weeks, but a date has not yet been set, Gallacinao said.

Rojas was shot once in the fatal incident. Until Monday, Minero was considered armed and dangerous because the murder weapon had not been recovered.
