Hecker Pass Crash Victim Identified as Watsonville Man
The man who crashed his car into a tree on Hecker Pass late last week was Vincent Lopez of Watsonville.

Lopez was driving on the rural road just before midnight on Thursday when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a tree, Gilroy police said last week.
Gilroy emergency crews tried to revive Lopez, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene, Sgt. Pedro Espinoza said.
