Homicide Suspect Seen in Gilroy...Maybe

There was a reported sighting of Juan Osorio Martinez on Tuesday.

Rumblings were abound in Gilroy Tuesday evening of a possible sighting of Juan Osorio Martinez, a man wanted for homicide in San Jose.

According to Gilroy Police, Martinez is a suspect in a 2011 killing and was thought to have fled the country.

The reporting party claimed to see Martinez riding a bike south on Church Street from the 200 block of First Street at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

"He is known to be transient, and prior, made a living selling fruit from a mobile vending cart," Sgt. Pedro Espinoza said in a prepared statement.
