JV Liquors Robbed at Gunpoint

Two men stole cash and cigarettes from the liquor store on Saturday morning.

On Nov. 24 at approximately 12:22 a.m., Gilroy Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at JV Liquors. 

Two suspects, one armed with a rifle or shotgun entered the store and demanded money from the cash register and cigarettes. As the armed suspect stood watch over the clerk, the other suspect removed the cash from the register and several packs of cigarettes from behind the counter.

During the course of the robbery the suspects threatened to shoot the clerk and then punched him in the face before fleeing the store. The suspects were last seen getting into an older model, dark colored four-door vehicle. 

The suspects were described as males, one being between 5-10 to 6-2 and weighing between 190 and 210 pounds and the other was between 5-7 to 5-10 and weighing between 170 to 180 pounds. Both suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and jeans.
