A bar fight turned into a stabbing at a Gilroy bar Saturday night, police said.
The back-stabbing was reported about 11:50 p.m. at the Longhouse Saloon, 8195 Monterey Rd., where the 36-year-old man was found at the entrance to the bar with multiple stab wounds, police said.
He was airlifted to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries, Gilroy police Sgt. Robert Locke-Paddon said.
Investigators determined that three men were involved in the fight with the victim, one of them identified as Efrain Fregoso, police said.
Fregoso was booked into the county jail on suspicion of attempted murder, according to police; the other suspects remained at large.
