Morning Fire Badly Damages Floral Shop

Crews from Gilroy responded to the fire at Floral Cottage of Morgan Hill.

A Morgan Hill floral shop was severely damaged in a fire this morning, a fire battalion chief said.

Firefighters arrived at the shop, located on Monterey Street near Spring Avenue, around 8:50 a.m. to find the rear of the business on fire, Morgan Hill Fire Department Battalion Chief Jim Crawford said.

Crawford did not name the business, but the Floral Cottage of Morgan Hill is listed near that intersection, at 16815 Monterey St.
