Over $3K Stolen from Gilroy Outlet Jeans Store

Police have already ruled out one employee as a suspect.

The Gilroy Police Department is investigating a grand theft from 7 For All Mankind — an outlet denim store at 8155 Arroyo Cir. in Gilroy.

Sometime overnight on Sunday, Feb. 24, the alarm sounded at the jeans store and when police arrived, it was discovered that five envelopes containing cash were stolen from the safe in the back room, Sgt. Pedro Espinoza said.

The grand total of the stolen envelopes is $3,092.99, according to police logs.

"We're still talking to employees," Espinoza said. "But the employee that worked that night has been cleared."
