Police Arrest Third Suspect in Gang Shooting

Juan Guerra, 21, was arrested in connection to the April 3 fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man in Gilroy.

A 21-year-old male, the third suspect connected to the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old Gilroy man April 3, has been arrested. 

Juan Guerra, of Gilroy, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. April 19 in San Jose, according to Gilroy Police. 

Guerra was the third and final suspect arrested in connection with the gang-related shooting that killed 30-year-old Jesse Emmanuel Silos of Firebaugh.

Earlier this month, police arrested Jose Morales Cortez, 21, and a 17-year-old male. Both were taken into custody for their parts in the homicide.
