Tuesday, 3/26

9:40 a.m. A suspect threw an egg at the victim’s vehicle on W. Ninth Street, damaging the paint of the car.

8 p.m. An adult male threw rocks through his parents’ residence after they kicked him out for inappropriate behavior. The damage was extensive to the residence and the three vehicles parked in front. 

6:45 p.m. Carlos Zepeda, 6:45 p.m., got into an argument with his girlfriend and punched her in the face.

10:25 a.m. A suspect approached the victim in the parking lot of Walmart in an aggressive manner on Camino Arroyo. When he got to her, he grabbed her and asked for identifying information. He delayed her access to her vehicle and struggled with her at the driver’s door in a tug of war to open the door. The victim was able to close and lock her door, and drive away when bystanders began yelling at the suspect.

2:39 p.m. The suspect driver, Lorraine Precious, 34, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Travel Park Circle. The passenger was arrested was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Sunday, 3/24

11:50 p.m. Two suspects with masks/gloves broke two sliding glass windows and made entry into the residence. One suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and the other with a crowbar. A 16-month-old and 14-year-old girl were home at the time. No one was injured and the subjects fled shortly after entry. Nothing was reported stolen and no suspect information was provided.

8:28 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for moving violations and three subjects were contacted. One of the suspects, Reyes Pineda, 19, fled from the traffic stop. The occupants were arrested and a warrant request was placed on the suspect who fled.

2:15 p.m. The victim was sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle in the area of Forest and Lewis Street, and was hit in the head with an object, causing major head trauma. It is unknown who threw the object. 

Saturday, 3/23

9 p.m. A vehicle was stolen from the 7400 block of Rosanna Street.

7:01 p.m. Francisca Vanessa Nieto, 24, was arrested for a false name and methamphetamine possession.

Friday, 3/22

2:14 p.m. Police embarked on a high speed, approximately 16 mile, vehicle pursuit with the wanted subject. The subject was subsequently arrested on E Las Animas Ave and Murray Ave. and found in possession of methamphetamine, packaging material and a digital scale.

Thursday, 3/21

5:47 p.m. The victim reported that her white ’91 Toyota Camry 4D was stolen from the carpool area of her apartment on Wren Ave. It’s in stock condition with black colored rims with small scratches on the left and right corners of the car.

5:42 a.m. Two men and a woman were spotted going through a parked vehicle. Upon contact, the woman, Miriam Luna, 36, was found to be on parole and in possession of drug paraphernalia, and with a credit card not belonging to her. A parole hold was placed on her. 

Wednesday, 3/20

8:19 p.m. The suspect, who is the neighbor of the victim, walked into the victim’s house without permission on Fourth Street. Once the suspect was caught inside the house of the victim’s child, he told the child that the victim gave him permission to get tin foil. 

3:10 p.m. An unknown suspect was seen smashing the driver’s window of the victim’s vehicle with his elbow on Moro Drive. The suspect reached in and took the victim’s purse. The victim’s credit card was later used at Bolsa Chevron.

Tuesday, 3/19

9 p.m. Unknown suspects used a rock to break one of the glass doors of a business on Tomkins Street. The suspects fled with the item in an unknown direction.
