Police Blotter: Indecent Exposure and Burglary

Police reports of crime in Gilroy from January 7 to 10.

Thursday

11 p.m. A male suspect used a chair to break a window at the National Guard Armory, and was arrested for vandalism. 

7:52 p.m. Ezequiel Acosta, 44, was stopped for a CVC violation on Monterey Street, and was found to be on searchable probation. During the probation search, the suspect resisted and ingested suspected methamphetamine. He continued to resist and forced to the ground, causing injury to his head.

Wednesday

10:47 a.m. A man found that his car was gone when he went to get it in front of his Mantelli Dr. home. He had parked it there the night before.

Tuesday

7:10 p.m. An unknown suspect used a rock to break the front door of a business on First Street and steal a number of items, including $400 of currency.

5:30 p.m. An unknown suspect broke a window on Church Street and stole several items inside, including a credit card and purse.

4:13 p.m. An unknown male suspect masturbated while women walked on the levy behind the GHS football field. This is the last time he did so in four months.

3:23 p.m. An unknown suspect vandalized a vehicle and stole several items, including a window and rack on First Street.

Monday

7 p.m. A car was stolen on First Street.
