July 10:
Assault: A Lowe's shopper hit an employee in the hand at 3:15 p.m.
Grand Theft: Jewelry was stolen from an apartment on Isabella Way at 3:33 p.m.
Auto Burglary: An iPad and a backpack were stolen from a car on Leavesley Road at 3:50 p.m.
Petty Theft: A pair of size six boys Nike shoes were stolen on Camino Arroyo at 11:50 a.m.
July 9:
Petty Theft: A woman left her wallet in her CVS shopping cart and it was stolen at 9 p.m.
Auto Burglary: A Coach wallet was stolen from inside a car on West 10th Street at 6:15 p.m.
Identity Theft: A Gilroy resident found that a credit card was opened in her name at 11:46 a.m.
Stolen Vehicle: A car was stolen from Leavesley Road at 7:20 a.m.
Arson: A vehicle was set on fire and ruined on Santa Inez Court at 3:34 a.m.
July 8:
Making Criminal Threats: Threatening text messages were sent to a resident on Monterey Street at 11:24 p.m.
Assault: A 26-year-old man slapped the mother of his child and pushed her against a fence at 10:28 p.m.
Commercial Burglary: Two men stole phones and iPads from the Verizon store at 6 p.m.
Petty Theft: Two 12-packs of beer were stolen by a 56-year-old man at a First Street business at 2:20 p.m.
Robbery: A man jumped out of his vehicle and forced his way into another, pushing the owner out and stealing it on El Cerrito Way at 7:10 a.m.
Arson: Books scheduled to be picked up for donation were burned on a sidewalk on Third Street at 3:18 a.m.
DUI: A 22-year-old man was arrested for driving while on drugs on First Street at 1:25 a.m.
