Police Blotter: Vehicle Vandalism and Theft

Wednesday

11:52 p.m. A woman failed to pay for her taxi fare on Alexander Street and attempted to flee. When the taxi driver attempted to stop her, she head bunted him, causing a golf ball size mark above his left eye. 

7:42 p.m. Ralph Ortez, 33, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and parole compliance check. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Tuesday

10:56 p.m. Unknown suspects broke the rear window of a vehicle and attempted to steal a speaker. The suspects were unable to steal the speaker completely.

5:10 p.m. A vehicle was taken on a “test drive” on Monterey Street and not returned. Once reported stolen, the vehicle was later found by the CHP.

2:03 p.m. A vehicle was stolen on the intersection of Santa Theresa Drive and Second Street after the keys were left in the ignition.

Monday

11:48 p.m. Three juveniles were arrested for possession of stolen property on Chestnut Street after admitting to breaking into several residences in San Jose and one in East Palo Alto.

11:40 a.m. Felisha Sambrano, 26, was contacted in a suspicious vehicle parked on Serafina and Forest Street. She was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and arrested.
