Police Looking For Driver Who Hit 63-Year-Old Pedestrian

The incident was a hit and run, police say.

Gilroy police are looking for the driver of a white four-door compact car that hit a 63-year-old pedestrian on Friday night and left him in critical condition.

Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run at about 11:05 p.m. on June 21, according to a police report. Officers found the victim unconscious on the 1300 block of First Street.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white four-door compact vehicle. The vehicle may have sustained front end damage or damage to the front windshield. This vehicle was last seen speeding away westbound on First Street and north on Kelton Drive.
