Police Seek Suspect in Miller Park Knife Attack

Authorities were able to treat and release the victim on scene.

A victim suffered multiple non-life threatening knife wounds after a fight the Gilroy Police Department says involved 15-20 suspects in Miller Park on Saturday. Now police are looking for both the stabbing suspect and the weapon.

Police responded to reports of the large fight at 8:08 p.m. Saturday, finding the victim upon arrival. The remaining combatants and the stabbing suspect had fled, police said.

Authorities treated and released the victim at the scene. The incident is not believed to be gang-related, and police said the motivation and other details of the crime are under investigation, police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 25–30 years old, 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds. Police said that he was wearing a green baseball cap, white T-shirt and blue shorts.
