San Martin Burglar Sold Items at Garage Sale

Morgan Hill police tracked down a woman who burglarized a storage unit.

On June 11 at 8p.m., Morgan Hill police officers were dispatched to Storage Mart located at 18025 Monterey Rd. to investigate a report of a burglary.

Upon arrival, officers were advised the victim’s storage locker had been burglarized and over $26,000 dollars worth of property had been taken.

On June 12, Morgan Hill detectives were able to develop leads which led them to the city of San Martin. A search of a residence subsequently led to the arrest of Darla Dominguez, 33, of San Martin and the recovery of multiple items taken from the burglary. Detectives also located a trailer which had been reported stolen in a separate case.

During the investigation it was discovered items stolen during the burglary were possibly sold at a garage sale on the 14000 block of Foothill Avenue in San Martin.
