Semi Overturns on Highway 152, Spilling 21,000 Pounds of Material

A semi-truck pulling two trailers filled with 21,000 pounds of cardboard and wooden pallets overturned on state Highway 152 this afternoon.

The man driving the truck may have fallen asleep at the wheel, but emerged from the truck able to walk, despite minor injuries, California Highway Patrol Officer Kevin Bartlett said.          

Traffic traveling in both directions near Frazier Lake Road on Highway 152 was stopped at around 2:35 p.m, and reopened within a couple hours. All traffic was rerouted while the lanes were being cleared.
